In 2009 The Coexistence Trust is seeking to recruit Campus Representatives on the following university campuses:
LSE, Oxford, Cambridge, Birmingham, Leeds, SOAS, Nottingham, Manchester, Salford, Leicester and De Montefort.

What does a Campus Representative do?
As a Campus Representative you will:
- Receive Coexistence Trust publicity and recruitment materials throughout the year.
- Distribute the announcement of relevant opportunities with the Coexistence Trust.
-Publicize the Coexistence Trust Campus tours and student leadership development days in campus publications, listservs and Web sites.
- Act as key liaison for organising workshops on Campus with Coexistence Trust staff
Why be a Campus Representative?
- Attend several private meetings in 2009-2010 with high-profile political figures at the Houses of Parliament to discuss student engagement and leadership development.
- Receive a guaranteed internship with The Coexistence Trust or one of our partner organisations.
- Receive training to be a track-leader at the FaithHub UK Student Summit 2010.
Am I eligible to be a Campus Representative?
To be eligible as a Campus Representative you will need to:
- Be a first-year or second-year undergraduate.
- Be committed to promoting collaborative and open dialogue between faith society leaders on university campuses.
- Have a strong interest in interfaith relationship building, community service, civic engagement and leadership development.
- Have excellent interpersonal skills.
- Provide a reference from a course lecturer, director of studies, president or vice-president of student committee or society in which you are involved.
Do I have to be a member of a particular faith group myself?
No, although possessing knowledge of a faith tradition will be an advantage. You can be of faith or no faith in particular. We are seeking to work with people who are open to and respectful of others’ faith traditions.
