Campus FaithHub 2009

Next month, we at The Coexistence Trust, the Tony Blair Faith Foundation and the Three Faiths Forum will embark on a tour of UK university campuses to mobilise students of faith across the country towards shared social action. Campus FaithHub – UK Tour 2009 will be a space to positive and constructive communication between faith communities on campus, provide skills and leadership training and offer tools for shared local and global action. 

The three organisations will be showcasing their student and youth programmes and offering volunteer and project opportunities for student across the UK, including Parliamentors, Faiths Act, and FaithHub Student Summit 2010.

Each tour day will feature:

- Training Workshops on political engagement, multi-faith action on global poverty and conflict resolution.

- VoteClash debate on global responsibility, entitled “Financial crisis: Should we sort ourselves out before saving the world?”.

- Reception and networking opportunities.



The Tour dates are:

University of Leeds - 4th November
University of Nottingham - 5th November
University of Leicester - 9th November
University of Salford - 10th November
University of Birmingham - 11th November
School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS) - 12th November
