WHAT WE DO
The Coexistence Trust Campus Ambassadors is a part-time one-year development programme for outstanding Muslim and Jewish students who have already exhibited strong leadership qualities on campus. CAP provides exceptional candidates with an accelerated scheme of coaching, mentoring and practical support.
We aim to work for the benefit of Muslim and Jewish student communities within national governments and international representative bodies. A central part of our work will be coordinating a political interfaith response to issues arising on campus in the United Kingdom and internationally through the following actvities:
- University Campus Tours.
- Student Leadership Development Days.
- UK Student Summit 2010.
We aim to mobilise world political leaders through dialogue, action and advocacy so as to strengthen links with and between Muslim and Jewish communities in the UK and internationally. We will use our substantial network of contacts to share best practice of ideas and methodologies for addressing intolerance in national and international parliaments through the following activities:
- Meetings and conferences.
- Regional visits.
