Presidents

Prince El Hassan bin Talal of Jordan has served as the King of Jordan's closest political advisor, confidant and deputy. He has initiated, founded and is actively involved in a number of Jordanian and international institutes and committees. These include The Royal Scientific Society, The Arab Thought Forum, The Higher Council for Science and Technology, The Royal Institute for Interfaith Studies, the Arab Youth Forum and the The El Hassan Youth Award. Internationally, Prince Hassan founded and is President of the Foundation for Interreligious and Intercultural Research and Dialogue.




Lord Janner of Braunstone QC is a Labour Peer, President of the Parliamentary Committee Against Antisemitism, Vice President of the World Jewish Congress and a member of the Jewish Leadership Council. He has been President of the Board of Deputies of British Jews and a key campaigner for Holocaust reparations. Lord Janner founded and is President of the Commonwealth Jewish Council and Chairman of the Holocaust Educational Trust.









Board of Trustees

Lord Mitchell is a Labour Peer and Chairman of the Coexistence Trust. He was Chairman of Syscap plc., has worked to develop relations between the Government and the IT industry and acted as Labour's information technology advisor. He is a member of the All Party Internet Group and EURIM.






Lord Young of Graffham is a Conservative Peer and a businessman. He was a Minister without Portfolio, Secretary of State for Employment, President of the Board of Trade and Secretary of State for Trade and Industry.








Lord Hameed of Hampstead is a Crossbencher. He is the Chairman of the Alpha Hospital Group and London International Hospital, of which he is also CEO. He has been extensively involved in inter-religious and community relations and was appointed High Sherriff of Greater London for 2006 - 2007.






Baroness Deech of Cumnor sits as a Crossbencher. She is an ex-Principal of St Anne's College, Oxford, the first Independent Adjudicator for Higher Education and is Professor of Law at Gresham College.









Baroness Falkner of Margravine is a Liberal Democrat and the inaugural Chancellor of the University of Northampton. She has worked on issues of globalisation, democracy and development.










Sir Gulam Noon MBE founded and directed Noon Products. He operates several successful businesses and is active in numerous charities and Government bodies. He has served as President of the London Chamber of Commerce and Industry and was appointed to the Board of Transport for London.
